Carnival of Personal Finance Edition #73

Welcome to the 73rd edition of the Carnival of Personal Finance. What I've tried to do for this carnival is to highlight a few fav's and to categorize posts in a more logical order. Without ado, here are the posts for this week:

Silicon Valley Blogger has an organized game plan in his post Money 101: My Basic Financial Plan, posted at The Digerati Life. If you're new to the blogosphere or to personal finances, this post is a good one to start reading.

In a similar vein, Jimmy Aktinson has compiled a list of 102 Personal Finance Tips Your Professor Never Taught You, posted at Ask the Advisor. Some of them are basic, others controversial. Regardless, there's probably something on the list that you haven't thought of.

We're going the way of long posts this time around. Pete talks about the Impact of Inflation, Interest & Investment Returns, posted at My Financial Awareness. He walks through some investment return examples, taking into account theoretical real life situations.

Jenna Coffee gives us a tip about the IRS crediting $30 - $60, posted at moneybucks coffee. I thought at first that it would be about coffee, but then I found out that it was about the phone bill.

TJP walks us through on how to Avoid Overdraft Fees, posted at Investor Trip. Now, we just need to work on our manners.

Tiredbuthappy writes about bringing your family on business trips, posted at Tired but Happy. I've never thought about this before, but it's a really good idea!
